Hi Bernie,

What a great site you have! Below is my bio info and I will e-mail you a picture! Thanks so much!

Namaste!

Katherine has been a steadfast Yogini since was first introduced to Baron Baptiste style yoga while attending the University of Iowa. There she received her B.A. in English Literature and Communication Studies but wanted to pursue a different path. After a near fatal car accident Katherine fully became aware of the healing aspects of yoga. She completed her Hatha Yoga certification at the 200-Hour Level through the Cincinnati Yoga School with a focus on Astanga and Yin styles realizing their complementary aspects.

Currently Katherine volunteers as Yoga Bear's Denver Chapter Director, matching cancer survivors with donating yoga studios and is continuing her education at the Nutrition Therapy Institute to become a Master Nutrition Therapist. Katherine whole-heartedly believes in the benefits of YogAsana, Pranayama and Mudra, and Mantra and Japa. She is ardent about holistic nutrition, wellness, creative writing, the great outdoors and sharing the benefits of yoga with others.

Katherine can be found teaching yin yoga at the downtown Denver, CO YMCA and Breathe, Denver's premier boutique studio.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. Yoga Bear is a national 501(c)3, with a volunteer-based staff.
