What is "positive stress"?
What is "being tense"?
It seems to be that a posture can have both. There can be a nice tension in a muscle and this can be a positive stress. For example: in Saddle pose there is a nice tugging along the thighs and this is great for the muscle and all the fascia wrapping the quads.
Being tense is not bad, per se. Painful tension is not good. But we need some tension to keep tissues healthy.
