Re: The square pose

Thanks a lot! This is how I have understood it but I got confused as so many teachers say that it will be better with time when you get less tight, more flexible, or how they express it, and I have resisted against that in my mind... so with this explanation I got confirmed that my understanding of ...

The square pose

Hi, I get a bit confused about the square pose. As I have understood, people are different in internal and external rotation of the femur, so wouldn't that unable some people to never really be able to do the square pose with one ankle over the opposite knee? But so many teachers say that if you are...

Fascia upper and lower body

Some yoga teachers says that there are more fascia on the lower body than on the upper body, is that so?
Some other says the fascia is thinner on the upper body than on the lower body, so what abou that?
Warm regards Anna

Sinew channels

Hi,
there has been a discussion in a yinyoga forum on sinew channels, that it is not really "meridians" that we target doing yinyoga but actually sinew channels. I find this a bit confusing. Any input on the subject is welcome!

Re: More Name Variations for YIN Yoga Poses and the Rebound

I have recently got to know about the concept rebound which I find very interesting. I have also followed a few online classes with you Bernie and heard how you mention rebound. But I got a bit confused when following yinyogaclasses where they put in yang positions in between, and when reading in yo...

But is the windshield wipers really for the quads? For me it is for the lower back and hips.

Legs on the wall -strain on the heart or not

Someone told me that legs on the wall is good (among other reasons) as it relieves a bit of pressure from the hearth, while someone else said it is the opposite, as the heart has to pump blood up to the legs and feet. And therefore this position is not good for people with cardivascular issues. I go...
