Yin Yoga, inflammation, fibrosis and cancer
Introducing Fascia Rock-star Helene Langevin
Helene Langevin is one of the rock-stars of the fascia research world. Wikipedia describes her as "a Professor in Residence of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women's Hospital. She is best known for discovering cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the field of acupuncture." But this bio doesn't begin to tell us about the way her works excites us yinsters. Is it good, bad, or just plain ugly?
There is a posture in Yin Yoga known as Saddle Pose. In the yang world it is called supta virasna: sitting between your feet and

They have almost 20 Yin Yoga classes by Bernie Clark, but also videos from many other teachers such as Doug Swenson, Cameron Gilley, and Dina Amsterdam. If you have

Here is a listing of all the videos
Yin is In! Yin Yoga has been with us since the beginning of Hatha Yoga
centuries ago. But since the early 19th century, yoga has become more and more yang-like in nature. Everything
requires balance: yin completes yang. Yin Yoga is the balancing practice for the more active, muscular yang yogas.
There are more and more teachers offering Yin Yoga today, and more workshops and opportunities to learn how to
become a Yin Yoga teacher. If diving deeper into the yin-side of life is on your bucket list, there are
lots of opportunities for you.
