Not sure if this is a "general yin yoga topic" but thought I would give it a shot.

Bernie, I was just reading your article about anti-fragility and how humans (and other beings, like frog ...

Bernie, thank you for the laugh. Very Happy

I admit that I can be a little intimidated talking to other teachers. I am relatively new to teaching, having graduated from my 200-hour YTT 3 years ago. I d ...

Thank you SO much for the article on "How to Refuse Alignment Cues." This student focused article is a perfect complement to the recent discussions around teacher touch/adjustments. Furthe ...

I absolutely incorporate Yin every day. I also do it at the end of my more active sequences and after other forms of exercise. After a long run, for example, I will do a 5 minute frog pose followed by ...

Thanks Bernie! Yes, that was my idea--i.e., try not to force a lot of postures but just do one that would give me the most bang for my buck. Laughing

I love butterfly! Are there others that would ...

Thanks Emily! Yes, that is my usual philosophy. I am wondering if some of the benefits of yin's ability to stretch the connective tissues can be realized with just one pose a day. Hopefully Bernie/ ...

I love yin and usually do it a couple times per week. I would love to commit to doing it more often, but I have trouble fitting it in with other types of yoga, strength training, cardio, etc.

In poses where a client is lying on their back, often with legs extended they feel too deep of a lower back arch - this is often the case if one has a rounder/fuller bum which lifts them higher off ...
